Hi I'm Carlotta

I'm a 23-year-old industrial design graduate from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. I am currently studying my masters in Design for Emergent Futures in Barcelona. I spent my first 10 years in California before moving back to the Netherlands in 2011, and this early shift taught me to adapt fast to new environments. I bring this flexibility into my designs, merging it with the international experiences gained from volunteering and traveling across six continents. My work is all about blending sustainability with practical, forward-thinking ideas that have a positive impact on society.

My passion lies in human-centered design, with a focus on the environmental aftermath of my designs. I aim to create a society in which the majority of products are sustainable and we question companies that have not made that shift. For me that means starting from scratch, reconsidering materials, and planning for what happens when the product's life cycle ends. It's not just about making things look good; it's about making a difference that lasts.
